Core Experience
Close collaboration with the systems team led to the creation of an atomic system that was built to scale while supporting specialized use cases across the organization.

The primary goal for the tablet product was to craft an experience that felt familiar. Comparisons were drawn from tools designers already use, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Sketch.

Dedicated Features
More than just a visual tool, the tablet product included a robust file system and permissions model, making it a proper design tool for a growing team. Versioning, history states, and internal and external sharing were key areas of focus.
Careful consideration was given to accessibility and affordance, particularly since many users would be working in low light environments at flagship store locations.

Cross Platform
The experience came full circle in the back office tool known internally as Base of Materials. This system became the foundation for both the web and tablet experiences.
A solution was delivered that complemented Levi’s existing design system while matching the work across web and tablet. The result was a set of tools and processes with far reaching benefits for both employees and customers.
