Levi's
Designing internal tools to support Levi’s teams from concept through production. The challenge was aligning design, ordering, and logistics without slowing daily workflows. Work across tablet and web resulted in a shared system that improved consistency, reliability, and coordination at scale.

Core Experience
As the lead designer, I partnered closely with systems, product, and engineering to define an atomic system built to scale while still supporting specialized workflows across teams and departments.

The primary goal for the tablet product was to feel immediately familiar. Interaction patterns were grounded in tools designers already use, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Sketch.

Dedicated Features
More than a visual tool, the tablet product functioned as a core production system. I led design decisions around file management, permissions, version history, and internal and external sharing to support teams as usage scaled.
Accessibility and affordance were treated as core requirements, especially since many designers worked in flagship stores with low light and constantly changing environmental conditions.

Cross Platform
The experience extended into a back office tool known internally as Base of Materials, serving as the shared foundation supporting both web and tablet experiences.
The solution complemented Levi’s existing design system while aligning work across web and tablet. This created a connected set of tools that supported internal teams and customer outcomes.

Takeaway
By aligning design with systems, product, and engineering, a scalable cross platform foundation was delivered that strengthened web and tablet experiences while supporting consistent, efficient internal workflows.
